First off, I’d like to thank all those who have taken the time to read the first few chapters of Shine, Book I of The Darkside Chronicles.  The numbers are climbing every day, thanks to people like you who have enjoyed what you’ve read so far and passed it on!

One of the most frequently asked questions is in regard to the pictures: are the pictures on the website really of the places I describe in the book?  The answer is, yes.

I spent a good deal of time in the Pacific Northwest doing research for this novel.  All the pictures currently posted – and will be posted in future chapters – are of the actual places you’re reading about.  I love the added touch of realism pictures bring, something you can’t really do in a paperback format.  And since the feedback has been so positive in this regard, it looks like you do too!
